Books on the Run

Books for homebound patrons

Books on the Run is a free home delivery and pickup service for homebound residents of Salem.  Participants must reside within the immediate city limits.  This is a long-standing partnership between the library and Enrichment Services of Dent County, Inc.

Volunteers from Enrichment Services will deliver/pick up library materials at your home on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.  You may keep the materials for two weeks.  If, at the end of the two weeks, you wish to renew any of the materials, you may call the library at (573)729-4331.  Please let the librarian know your name, that you are a participant in Books on the Run, and the titles of the items you wish to renew.  On the mornings of the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, volunteers from Enrichment Services will pick up materials that you are finished with and return them to the library.  They will then deliver to you a new selection of library materials!

Please complete the Books on the Run application.  It may be mailed to the library at 403 N. Jackson St. or emailed to salemmopubliclibrary@gmail.com.

This library program is designed for readers of all ages.
